After your booking is confirmed, our engineer will send you a one-time auth code. Follow the steps below to get ready, and the engineer will connect securely to complete the installation while you watch.

Supports macOS 12+, Windows 10/11This allows our engineer to connect to your machine.
Your engineer will include an auth code and a one-line command in the confirmation email. Open Terminal (macOS) or Command Prompt (Windows), paste and run it.
tailscale up --login-server [server] --authkey [your-code]
Reply to the confirmation email or send us a new message. Once the engineer confirms the connection, installation begins — about 1–2 hours total.
All data is end-to-end encrypted — the same security level as online banking.
The auth code is single-use and expires immediately after installation. No backdoors are left behind.
You can see everything the engineer does on your screen. You can pause or disconnect the session at any time.
Our service terms clearly define the scope of engineer access. Business clients may request a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for added assurance.
