How Does Remote Install Work?
After your booking is confirmed, our engineer will send you a one-time auth code. Follow the steps below to get ready, and the engineer will connect securely to complete the installation while you watch.

Download the official free connection tool — no extra setup needed after install.
Supports macOS 12+, Windows 10/11Enable Remote Access on Your Computer
This allows our engineer to connect to your machine.
- Click the Apple menu → System Settings
- Go to General → Sharing
- Turn on "Remote Login"
- Press Win + I to open Settings
- Go to System → Remote Desktop
- Turn on "Remote Desktop"
Enter the Auth Code from Your Engineer
Your engineer will include an auth code and a one-line command in the confirmation email. Open Terminal (macOS) or Command Prompt (Windows), paste and run it.
tailscale up --login-server [server] --authkey [your-code]
Let Your Engineer Know You're Ready
Reply to the confirmation email or send us a new message. Once the engineer confirms the connection, installation begins — about 1–2 hours total.
